On 3/31/2025 the Piscataway High School varsity baseball team was set to play North Plainfield at 4:00pm but because of the rain and lightning they moved the game 1 hour early at 3:00pm. First pitch was underway and the season began!
North Plainfield scored the first run of the game. Then, during the bottom of the first, PHS catcher Jason Mann (#2) hit Pway’s first home run of the season to tie the game 1-1. Unfortunately, that would be Pway’s only run of the game. Everything broke loose for Piscataway because North Plainfield, led by Victor Ceda, kepts hitting runs and Piscataway could not keep up. At the end of the 5th inning, with the score 12-1, the umpire called the game due to the weather

On 4/2/25, Pway lost again to North Plainfield on 4/2/2025 4-1 with catcher Jason Mann (#2) scoring the only run for Pway, so Piscataway fell to 0-2. They will try to seek their first win of the season when they play South River at Green Acres at home on April 4 2025 at 4:00pm.

Piscataway softball lost to Iselin Kennedy 16-6 for their opener, with Marissa Mikita #17 leading the teams in runs scored, and on 4/2/25, the PHS varsity softball team went up against Middlesex High School.
The last time Piscataway met Middlesex in softball, Middlesex destroyed Piscataway 20-1 back on 4/17/2024. Would things be different this time?
The weather was cold, and it did not feel like a warm spring day, and on April 2 2025, unfortunately Middlesex did the same thing to Piscataway softball again. Middlesex won 17-2, and Piscataway is now 0-2 for the season. The 2 only players to score a run that game were #17 Marissa Mikita and #6 Juliana Mena, but besides that it was all Middlesex.

Piscataway’s next softball game will be on April 4 2025 at 4:00pm at Edison to seek their first win of the season.
