On Friday October 24 2025, students filled Kenny Armwood Stadium to attend the annual fall pep rally to recognize the PHS fall sports programs.

The day began with the singing of the National Anthem by PHS Senior Sydney Hain.

There were performances by the marching band, dance team and the cheerleaders.

Every sport from football to soccer was represented at the pep rally and every sports team ran from endzone to endzone to represent themselves during the pep rally.

There were games that students from each grade level participated in such as tug of war and musical chairs. The seniors ended up winning for the day!

This pep rally was fun and an amazing experience for all the sports teams and students to take a break from normal school.

The event was captured by photographers and videographers from the Chieftain, the Yearbook, and the TV Club

Mr Horan, the advisor of the SGA, said that his most favorite part of the pep rally was “tug of war because of the excitement and the upsets that happen.”

Junior Sophia Lojko said, “My favorite part of the pep rally is watching the talent each sport has. From the dance team to the cheerleaders to the other sports running across the field, I am reminded of the talent and passion our teams have.”

Junior Andon Christmas said, “ My favorite part of the pep rally was when each class was battling it out by playing tug of war.”

The credit goes to the SGA (Student government association) for another successful pep rally!! The next pep rally event will take place in the spring of 2026 at Kenny Armwood stadium!
